Job Overview
We are looking for a compassionate, dedicated Early Years Practitioner to join our team. In this rewarding role, you will provide exceptional care and developmental support to young children--including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers--within a nurturing and stimulating environment. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience, a deep understanding of early childhood development, and a genuine passion for helping children thrive through play-based learning and meaningful interactions.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver attentive, loving care to children aged 0-5, ensuring their safety, comfort, and emotional well-being at all times
Design and lead age-appropriate experiences that foster growth in key areas such as communication, social-emotional skills, physical coordination, and cognitive development
Create and maintain a clean, organised, and engaging learning space that encourages exploration and creativity
Build strong, trusting relationships with families and caregivers.
Observe and document children's milestones, sharing insights with colleagues to support individual learning journeys
Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in early years education
Qualifications & Experience
Demonstrated experience working in a childcare or early years setting
Solid understanding of child development theories and effective behaviour management techniques
Hands-on experience caring for infants and toddlers is highly valued
A recognised qualification in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred
First Aid certification is advantageous and reflects readiness to respond to emergencies
Strong teamwork skills with the ability to take initiative and work independently when needed
Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with children, families, and fellow practitioners
