Job Details
Breakfast Cafe.
Hunger and poverty are having a detrimental effect on children's ability to concentrate and engage in their school learning. Hunger often leads to lethargy and sometimes even disruptive behaviour, which ultimately leads to children not engaging in the classroom.
A childcare practitioner working in a Breakfast Cafe will provide a safe, secure environment before school where all children attending are provided with a healthy breakfast (ranging from cereal, toast, fruit and yoghurts).
Breakfast Cafes are a drop in services and are not a registered childcare provision. We also offer a toast to school service so this may vary.
Operational hours 7.45am-9am included with the children attending from 8am or preparing toast to deliver to classrooms for children coming into school.

If you need to achieve a qualification to maintain your SSSC membership, information will be provided if you are appointed. You must ensure you complete the qualification within the specified timeframe.
