We are seeking a driven, ambitious, and confident childcare practitioner to manage and transform our out-of-school childcare enterprise - The Beith Hive.
This is a key role for someone who wants to shape and develop an excellent service, not just maintain it.
You will bring both strong childcare practice and confident leadership, using your skills to design and deliver a service that children love and families trust. You'll make sure local families have flexibility and choice through a high-quality, nurturing and reliable out-of-school childcare offer.
As the service grows there will be scope to expand the role
The successful candidate will be highly organised, quality-driven and fully IT literate, with strong administrative skills.
Main Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Lead the
day-to-day operations
and a
team of childcare practitioners
Champion and ensueer
high quality practice
, continuous improvement and reflective practice
Work closely with the CEO to develop new, exciting childcare provisions such as
forest school, forest nursery and school holiday camps.
Increase occupancy rates and income
You will hold, or be working towards, a BA Childhood Practice or equivalent, and use your knowledge of key frameworks to drive quality assurance, monitoring, observations and self-evaluation, ensuring The Beith Hive is recognised as a sector-leading local service.

Strong personal commitment to delivering and developing a high-quality childcare service.
Proven ability to lead improvement, not just maintain standards.
Experience of quality assurance and improvement planning, with a clear drive to achieve and sustain high inspection grades.
Ability to inspire and support a team to deliver consistent, high-quality practice.
Excellent communication skills including IT, written and verbal communication and Report Writing.
Full UK Driving License is essential for this post.
