We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, dedicated and forward-thinking Childcare Worker to join our team at the Victoria Centre. Working 32.5 hours weekly (52.00 weeks of the year) you will join our well-established Childcare team based in a local charity.
The role will be varied and will include, overseeing the creation, and implementation of individual plans to enable children to access the curriculum. Reviewing and assessing children's progress and targets; liaising with external agencies and providing support to children and their families. This is a fulfilling and rewarding role where you will be making a difference to children's learning and progress.
We are looking for applicants with strong communication skills who will be able to build and maintain respectful and effective relationships with staff, children and their families. You will be motivated and resilient with excellent organisational, interpersonal and time management skills.
The ideal candidate:
Successful applicants must be Early Years Qualified with experience of working with Early Years Setting.
Possesses outstanding communication skills and can work well in teams.
Has a thorough understanding of child protection and safeguarding issues.
