40 hours per week - 8.00am - 4.30pm Monday to Friday

Or

2/3 days a week same hours as a job share.

Pay:

Dependant on experience, Minimum wage - 14ph

About the Role

We're looking for a kind, reliable, and caring person to join our small, friendly childcare setting as a

Childminding Assistant

that loves to play and interact with children (0-3) on their level.

You'll be helping to create a safe, fun, and nurturing space where children can learn, play, and grow. Every day is different -- from messy play and story time to outdoor adventures!

What You'll Be Doing

Helping to care for and play with children of different ages Supporting creative and learning activities Assisting with snacks, mealtimes, and tidy-up time Helping with school runs and local outings Keeping the environment clean, safe, and welcoming Following safeguarding and health & safety procedures

About You

We're looking for someone who:

Loves working with children and seeing them thrive Is patient, friendly, and a good communicator Is reliable, flexible, and enjoys working as part of a small team Is willing to complete any required training (e.g. Safeguarding, First Aid)

Bonus Points If You Have:

Experience in childcare or early years A Level 2 or 3 childcare qualification A current DBS check

, as there may be the option to bring them along (depending on space and ratios).

We're also open to a

job share

, but applicants would need to be able to

cover each other's holidays and absences

to ensure consistent care for the children.
