Residential Support Workers
to help build a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment.
About the Role:
As a Residential Support Worker, you'll play a key role in supporting children and young people with their daily routines, emotional well-being, and personal development. You'll be part of a dedicated team that puts the needs of each child at the centre of everything they do.
What You'll Do:
Support children with daily routines, including personal care, meals, and activities
Build positive, trusting relationships with young people to help them feel safe and valued
Encourage children's independence, confidence, and life skills
Respond calmly and effectively to challenging situations
Work closely with your team to deliver consistent, child-focused care
Follow safeguarding policies and support the home's values and routines
What We're Looking For:
A genuine passion for working with children and young people
Patience, empathy, and the ability to stay calm under pressure
Willingness to work a 2 on / 4 off shift pattern, including sleep-ins
Experience in a care or support role is helpful but not essential - full training will be provided
A team player who is reliable, supportive, and committed
