We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing assistance and support to individuals, particularly children, in their daily activities. Responsibilities
Assist children with daily living activities, ensuring their safety and well-being.
Develop and implement individual care plans based on the specific needs of each child.
Provide emotional support and encouragement to promote confidence and independence.
Maintain accurate records of care provided, including progress notes and any changes in behaviour or health.
Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to care.
Drive children to appointments or activities as required, ensuring safe transportation.
Engage children in educational and recreational activities that foster development.
Skills
Experience working with children is essential; previous childcare experience is highly desirable.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, families, and colleagues.
Ability to develop and implement care plans tailored to individual needs.
Proficient IT skills for maintaining records and communicating effectively within the team.
