We have an exciting opportunity for a Children, Young People and Families (CYPF) Project Manager to join Tameside Oldham Glossop and Stockport Minds (TOGS Mind) Youth in Mind Directorate on a permanent basis, reporting to the CYPF Senior Manager.
As a CYPF Project Manager you will be responsible for all aspects of operational management and oversight of projects sitting within the CYPF directorate, including management of staff, service delivery, and achieving outcomes set out in key performance indicators (KPI). Our projects are specifically designed to support the emotional wellbeing of children and young people aged 8-18 and their family's needs living in Oldham, Tameside and Stockport.
In your role, you will be pivotal in shaping the CYPF directorate as a valued member of the management team and strengthening relationships with VCFSE and statutory organisations to help increase access to therapeutic support for children, young people and families.
You will provide support to the staff team and senior management, ensuring we achieve the best possible outcomes for the children and young people accessing our services. Ensure projects are delivering on KPIs, recognising themes and informing senior management at the earliest opportunities when issues and development opportunities arise. You will work within the i-Thrive framework for children and young people's emotional wellbeing, modelling a trauma informed and person-centred approach to children, young people's support. Ensuring that their needs and wishes are always at the centre of decision making.
What you will bring to TOG Mind:
To be considered for this role, we are looking for experienced candidates that can draw upon their knowledge, experience and skills to provide effective management to teams and oversight of services. We welcome applications from those with lived experience of mental health, health and social care support and those with robust understanding of mental health and wellbeing of children, young people and families
You will be passionate, enthusiastic and have experience in liaising with other professionals, managing people and projects, while also being committed to providing positive outcomes and achieving organisational goals. It is essential you have strong knowledge and experience of safeguarding, and multi-disciplinary teams. It is desirable for you to hold a relevant qualification at a Level 4 or above, however we welcome applicants with a range of experience and backgrounds so equivalent skills, and experience are accepted
You will need to have strong interpersonal skills which are essential, along with the ability to problem solve, manage complex situations, build trusting relationships, foster collaboration and communicate empathically with families and colleagues. You will bring knowledge and understanding of the Health and Social Care sector and be committed to cross sector working to bring about positive change for the young people and families.
