to join our Swansea-based agency bank team. This role involves working directly in family homes and the community, providing practical and emotional support to children, young people (pre-birth to 18 years), and their families/carers.
Role Responsibilities:
Provide hands-on support to families in their homes, ensuring a safe and supportive environment.
Accompany families to hospital appointments, social services meetings, and other essential appointments.
Deliver short-term, planned, and emergency assistance to promote children's safety and well-being.
Support and implement tailored safety and well-being plans for families.
Maintain accurate written records and reports of support provided.
Essential Requirements:
Minimum of
6 months' experience
working with children and/or families, including experience of recording and reporting.
City and Guilds Level 2 in Children's Care, Play, Learning and Development
(or equivalent).
Social Care Wales registration
for childcare.
Full UK driving licence
and access to a reliable vehic
Must be
registered with our agency
to access bank shifts.
