Job Description

Join our dedicated Children's AP - Exploitation Team in Middlesbrough, where you will play a crucial role in safeguarding vulnerable children and young people from exploitation. As a Qualified Social Worker, you will work collaboratively with multi-agency partners to assess, support, and develop effective intervention strategies that ensure the safety and well-being of children in our community.
Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting thorough assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks.
Developing and implementing tailored care plans that promote the welfare of children.
Working closely with schools, health services, and law enforcement to coordinate support and resources.
Providing guidance and support to families, empowering them to make positive changes.
Maintaining accurate records and documentation in compliance with statutory requirements.

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work).
Registered with Social Work England.
Proven experience in child protection and safeguarding.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children and families.
Knowledge of relevant legislation and frameworks related to child welfare and exploitation.
