Cygnets Art School Putney is looking for a passionate and enthusiastic assistant to help with our classes!

Please read all the information below before applying, as this is a part-time, freelance position, and may not be suitable for everyone.

Cygnets is a fine art school franchise for children, based in the UK. We teach traditional drawing, painting and sculpture, combined with unique projects; experienced teachers, and professional quality materials. Classes are run for ages 5-12 after school and weekends during term time, as well as every half term and school holiday.

PLEASE NOTE THIS JOB IS FOR ONLY 1HR CLASS 3x PER WEEK (15) AND WILL ONLY BE SUITABLE FOR SOMEONE WHO LIVES LOCAL TO PUTNEY.

We are a local children's art school looking for two new assistant's to help with some of our afterschool classes:

Job Role 1:



Mondays 3.15pm-4.15pm (Wandsworth)

Tuesday 3.30pm-4.30pm (Putney)

Wednesdays 3.30pm-4.30pm (Putney)

Tuesday 3.30pm-4.30pm (Putney)

Wednesdays 3.30pm-4.30pm (Putney)

This would be starting in September (33 weeks per year). Possible candidates would need to attend a trial in August

Duties include helping to set up, and clear away the class, as well as assisting the students with their work. No experience is necessary and would suit anyone aged 18+ who is enthusiastic and enjoys working with children in a creative environment. Art background would be beneficial to the role

There may also be additional hours available to help with other after school classes, as well as our workshops during half terms and school holidays when needed.

This role would suit a creative individual with a passion for working with children, ideally with an art background.

Pay:



15/ hr (please note this is paid for the length of the class and includes any preparation/ set up/ clear-up time. Eg a 1hr class 3.30pm-4.30pm is paid at 15)

- A background in creativity

- A passion for working with children

- Excellent reliability, time-keeping and organisation
