Children's Care Assistant

Children's Care Assistant needed in Huddersfield - pay starts at 13.00 per hour, interviews ASAP, immediate start, driver with access to own vehicle needed, experience working with children with complex needs essential.

What we offer:

Pay from 13.00-16.00 per hour (bank holidays 16 p/h) Paid mileage between visits (30p per mile) One-hour minimum visits - no rushing, time to build relationships Alternate weekends off and rotas given 4 weeks in advance 28 days paid holiday (pro rata) and pension scheme Fully paid training and support to gain diploma qualifications Carer awards, referral scheme, and a supportive, friendly team

About the role

You'll provide care for children with complex needs, including medication, PEG feeding, epilepsy care, personal care, meal preparation, companionship, and social support.

Part-time, ad hoc shifts around school hours:

Weekdays: 7-9am & 4-8pm Weekends: block hours available Extra hours if also supporting adults

About you

Experience supporting children with complex needs (essential) Driver with access to your own vehicle Empathetic, reliable, and confident working with families
