South Group One Early Learning are offering a potential promotion opportunity to experienced managers who wish to take the next step in their career

The post covers Two Willows, Middleton and Rothwell areas.

The Childrens Centre Manager will provide effective operational management and leadership of the Children\'s Centre team, delivering high quality services and meet the requirements of the relevant national inspections standards.

The post holder will also:

• Provide strong leadership, effective management and continuous support and challenge to sustain and improve a designated group of children centres where children are safe, can flourish and learn through integrated and comprehensive services for children, mothers, fathers and families.

• Implement the Children Centre Performance Management Framework and produce reports that demonstrate continuous improvement.

• Effectively manage the Centre\'s budgets, complying with all Leeds City Council financial regulations and procedures and demonstrating an awareness at all times of the services future viability through efficient business management.

It is an essential requirement of this post that the post holder should hold a minimum of a full and relevant Level 3 qualification as defined by the Sector Skills Council for Childcare AND there is also a requirement to hold a relevant degree(as recognised by the CWDC, such as the BA Hons. Childhood Studies, Early Years Sector Endorsed Foundation Degree but NOT other non- relevant degrees) OR substantial professional experience in a relevant working environment and a demonstrable commitment to Continuous Professional Development during their career.

NB: The centres operate between the hours of 08:00 and 18:00 5 days a week and candidates must be available to cover shifts over this period if necessary whether working on a part time or full time basis.
