Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and forward thinking physiotherapists to join the Children's Community Physiotherapy Service as a team lead.



The role will be based in the South of Oxfordshire at either Wallingford, Didcot or Abingdon.



Applicants must have a full valid driving licence and have access to a vehicle for work. Adjustments can be considered in line with the Equality Act 2010 where required.



You will be responsible for managing a locality physiotherapy team consisting of band 5 and 6 qualified staff and band 3 and 4 assistants, leading a clinical area, and supporting the professional lead with service development. The children's community physiotherapy service provides therapy input and support to children with long-term conditions in Oxfordshire.



You will provide advanced assessment and treatment of patients in homes, schools and clinic settings; providing a comprehensive community physiotherapy service for patients with complex health needs, formulated around evidence-based practice and recognised national standards.

You will provide specialist and highly skilled Physiotherapy assessments and intervention for children and young people with a range of needs including complex disability. This includes therapy in education settings, patient's own homes, clinics and the wider community.
