Hourly rate:

13 per hour

Hours:

38 hours per week ( working flexibly over 7 days)

Weekends :

You will be required to work alternate weekends

Shifts :

Please note shift vary and include split shift, early shifts starting at 7am and late shifts finishing up to 9pm.

What you will do

Provide

high quality, person-centred care

following each child or young person's care plan Offer

compassionate personal care

(regulated activity) and support with daily routines for

ages 0-25 years old

Assist with

nutrition needs

- helping with eating, drinking and mealtime enjoyment. Encourage play, creativity and

emotional wellbeing

, supporting children to thrive. You will be required to

work across both our respite homes

(Lily's place, Poole and Lawford Lodge, Hamworthy) and in families homes.
In this role you will not only bring reassurance to the parents and caregivers who need respite, but also bring joy and comfort to the children you support. You will empower children and young people to express themselves, build confidence and experience joy in ways that would not be possible without your support. You will play a pivot part n supporting children and young people to make memories that last a lifetime.

What we are looking for



A positive, flexible approach to working across 7 days a week A kind and compassionate individual with a genuine love for helping others An adaptable individual with a passion to learn Experience in care and/or childcare would be advantageous but is not essential UK Manual driving license is desirable but not essential
