We have a vacancy at our Holmfirth Venue currently 2 hours on a Sunday morning

There is much more to Little Kickers than football coaching. We believe in offering children an ongoing, positive introduction to sport, through our fun and varied classes and we're looking for coaches who share our passion.

Training & support will be provided to ensure you can become a successful Little Kickers coach.

Duties

Using the session plans, deliver age-appropriate football sessions that emphasize basic motor skills, coordination, balance, and teamwork. Introduce young children to fundamental football techniques such as dribbling, passing, and shooting through fun and engaging games. Create an environment where children can develop their physical skills, cognitive abilities, and social interaction in a playful way. Adapt coaching strategies to suit the varying abilities and attention spans of young children. Foster a positive, encouraging atmosphere where children feel safe, supported, and excited to participate. Use games, activities, and simple drills to build children's confidence and motor skills. Focus on developing teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills in a group setting.

Experience (Desirable but not essential)

Experience working with young children, particularly in a sports or recreational setting. Understanding of child development and age-appropriate teaching techniques. Knowledge of basic football skills and techniques, with an ability to simplify drills for early learners.

Job Types: Part-time, Zero hours contract

Pay: 12.21-31.50 per hour
