Job Summary:

WeeKicks, a provider of football activity classes for children aged between 15 months and 8th birthday, is seeking to hire a Football Coach. The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching these classes and ensuring that they are educational, physically active, and high energy.

Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver football activity classes for children aged between 15 months and 8th birthday Create lesson plans that are age-appropriate, engaging, and fun Promote a safe and inclusive learning environment for all children Use positive reinforcement and encouragement to motivate children to participate and enjoy the classes Communicate with parents and caregivers about their child's progress and development Maintain accurate attendance records and complete necessary paperwork Attend staff meetings and professional development opportunities as required Ensure that all equipment is in good working order and report any maintenance needs to the appropriate person Adhere to all health and safety policies and procedures
Requirements:

Previous experience working with children, preferably in a sports or coaching setting A strong understanding of child development and the ability to create age-appropriate lesson plans A passion for football and a desire to share this with children Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with children and parents The ability to work independently and as part of a team A current first aid and CPR certification, or a willingness to obtain one Availability to work flexible hours, including afternoons and weekends
