We're seeking a passionate, experienced, and hands-on Deputy Manager to help lead our children's home, which supports up to four young people with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs. Our home is more than a building--it's a space of understanding, patience, and tailored support.

What you'll do
Support the Registered Manager in the daily operations, safeguarding, and leadership of the home
Be a positive role model for children and staff alike leading by example with compassion and consistency
Ensure children's individual care plans and education goals are implemented and reviewed effectively
Foster a culture of respect, learning, and resilience
Champion the highest standards of compliance with Children's Homes Regulations and Ofsted expectations
What we're looking for
Experience working in a children's residential home, ideally with learning disabilities or autism
A Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent); Level 5 preferred or willingness to work towards it
Leadership qualities that balance professionalism with warmth and empathy
Strong understanding of safeguarding, risk management, and team supervision
