SH Children's Home is a nurturing, child-centred residential setting committed to making a real difference in the lives of young people. We're now looking for a passionate and driven Deputy Manager to join our dedicated team.

Hours: 40 hours per week | Full-Time | 50% Admin / 50% Care

Assist the Manager in the overall operation of the children's home, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
Supervise, support and lead a team of staff to ensure high-quality care delivery to our young people
To safeguard and promote the welfare of our young people and to ensure that the quality of care provided is consistent with Quality Standards, Children's Homes Regulations.

Requirements

Proven experience in a senior role within a children's residential setting

NVQ Level 3 in Children & Young People's Workforce (or equivalent) - Level 5 preferred or willingness to work towards it

Strong understanding of safeguarding, child protection, and Ofsted regulations

Confident leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop a team

A resilient, compassionate and hands-on approach
