We are seeking an experienced Team Leader or Deputy Manager to provide management support at one of our children's homes in Wirral. This will be on a temporary basis, but may lead to a permanent opportunity in that home or another Juno home (as we plan to open a new home in early 2026).
Responsibilities
Work alongside the team on shifts and
supervising
the staff team alongside the Registered Manager.
Be responsible for the effective
day-to-day running of the home
in the absence of the Registered Manager, working flexibly to meet changing demands and be willing to
take on new tasks and responsibilities
.
Safeguard and promote the welfare of the children living in the home, taking practical steps to ensure their safety. This includes
identifying, recording and reporting any risk of harm
or child protection concerns in accordance with policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
Take the lead in
developing care plans
and risk assessments
, then work with each child to follow their care plan to reflect their changing needs and be proactive in working to achieve the aims of their care plan.
Experience
,
Skills, & Qualifications:
Level 3 Diploma
in Children's Residential Care (or equivalent) with
two years of experience
of working with children in a residential care setting
Experience in
supervising other staff
and experience of effective co-working with other professionals
Understanding of
how to keep children safe
and protect them from abuse, neglect, exploitation or other types of harm

Pay: From 3,000.00 per month
