We are now seeking a passionate and experienced
Registered Manager
to lead our home and help shape a culture built on high expectations, emotional wellbeing, and positive outcomes for young people.
The Role
As our Registered Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the operational leadership of the home. You will ensure the highest standards of care, lead a dedicated team, and uphold full compliance with Ofsted, safeguarding legislation, and the Children's Homes (England) Regulations.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Leading and inspiring the staff team to deliver outstanding personalised care
Ensuring the home meets all regulatory, safeguarding, and quality standards
Overseeing care planning, risk management, and children's daily routines
Maintaining a safe, structured, and nurturing environment
Building strong relationships with children, families, local authorities, and professionals
Managing staff performance, training, rotas, and development
Preparing for and supporting Ofsted inspections
Promoting the organisation's culture of integrity, empathy, and high aspirations
About You
We are looking for someone who embodies our values and is committed to creating a positive, child-centred environment.
Essential Requirements:
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
Significant experience in a leadership role within a children's residential service
Strong knowledge of safeguarding, the Children's Homes Regulations, and Ofsted frameworks
Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
Desirable:
Experience with children who have complex emotional or behavioural needs
Knowledge of trauma-informed practice and therapeutic approaches
