Overview


We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Children's Manager to lead our team in providing exceptional care for children in our Ofsted-regulated children's home. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in senior care, and will support children and young people with complex emotional and behavioural needs (EBD). This is a great opportunity to make a significant impact within our service and lead a compassionate and dedicated team to deliver outstanding trauma-informed care.

Responsibilities



Oversee day-to-day operations of the home in accordance with Ofsted regulations and Quality Standards. Provide inspirational leadership to care staff in the service. Deliver effective safeguarding practices and further embed them within the home. Ensure full compliance with all statutory requirements, legislation, and company policies. Develop and implement individualised care plans in collaboration with your team and multi-agency professionals. Monitor performance, implement quality assurance measures, and prepare for Ofsted Inspections. Manage a budget, staffing and associated resources. Collaborate with external professionals and families to ensure individualised support for each child.

Requirements



Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare. Proven experience managing a children's residential home. In-depth knowledge of children's home regulations, safeguarding, and Ofsted Inspection frameworks. Ability to work in stressful environments whilst delivering a child-first approach. Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
