We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Manager to oversee the operation of our BRAND NEW EBD children's residential care home - which requires set up and DUAL registration with OFSTED. We are looking for a full time and permanent applicant to join the start of our new growing company.

About the Role



The DUAL REGISTRATION OFSTED Registered Manager is responsible for the overall management and leadership of a children's residential home, ensuring the highest standards of care, safeguarding, and compliance with OFSTED regulations. The role involves overseeing daily operations, leading the staff team, and ensuring the home provides a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment for children and young people.

Key Responsibilities



Registration with OFSTED for our brand new home including; coordination of the OFSTED registration process from start to finish, as well as correspondences with government bodies and directors. Lead, manage, and develop the residential home in line with OFSTED standards and statutory requirements. Ensure the welfare, safety, and development of all children and young people in the home. Oversee recruitment, training, and supervision of staff, fostering a positive and professional team culture. Develop and implement care plans, risk assessments, and safeguarding procedures. Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all regulatory and legislative requirements. Liaise with external agencies, families, and professionals to support the best outcomes for children. Manage budgets and resources effectively to ensure the smooth running of the home. Prepare for and participate in OFSTED inspections, ensuring the home is always inspection-ready.

Candidate Requirements



Proven experience in a management role within children's residential care. Level 5 (or currently working towards) Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent). Level 3 or 4 in Residential Childcare. Experience with OFSTED registration process desired but not essential. In-depth knowledge of OFSTED regulations and safeguarding procedures. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work under pressure and manage complex situations. Enhanced DBS check. Must have a minimum of 12 months manager or deputy manager experience in an OFSTED regulated children's home.

Prior to registration annual salary will be 60,000 - upon successful registration salary will be increased to 75,000 & company car will be provided.
