Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to assist children with their daily needs and development. The successful candidate will provide personalised support, promote independence, and work closely with families and care teams to ensure the well-being of children in various settings. Responsibilities

Assist children with daily activities, including personal care, mobility, and behavioural support Develop and implement individualised care plans in collaboration with families and professionals Support children in educational and recreational activities to encourage socialisation and skill development Maintain accurate records of progress, incidents, and care provided in accordance with organisational policies Provide transportation for children as required, ensuring safety at all times during journeys Communicate effectively with children, families, and team members to ensure consistent support Promote a safe, nurturing environment that encourages independence and confidence

Requirements

Experience working with children or in childcare settings is highly desirable Valid driving licence and ability to drive safely are preferred Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with children, families, and colleagues Knowledge of child development principles and ability to adapt support accordingly IT skills for maintaining records and completing documentation accurately Compassionate attitude with a genuine interest in supporting children's growth and well-being Ability to work flexibly, including occasional evening or weekend shifts if required

Pay: 24,420.00-28,000.00 per year
