Summary

We are seeking a compassionate Children's Home support worker to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to children and young women in a therapeutic environment, helping them navigate their emotional challenges and promoting their journey towards independence.

Responsibilities

Provide personalised care and support to young people with complex emotional needs. Assist in the development and implementation of care plans tailored to individual requirements. Foster a safe and nurturing environment that encourages personal growth and emotional resilience. Communicate effectively with them, offering guidance and support as needed. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care delivery. Maintain accurate records of care provided and progress made by the individuals.

Requirements

Experience working with children or young people in a children's home setting is essential. Strong understanding of childcare principles and practices. Ability to develop and implement effective care plans. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. IT skills for record-keeping and communication purposes.
