KidsPartyHostisresponsibleforcreatingafunandengagingenvironmentforchildren'sbirthdayparties combined with a pottery painting experience,ensuringthatallactivitiesrunsmoothly in the 2 hour session depending on whether the birthday child is having food with her pottery painting.

Key Responsibilities

Party Planning and Setup

: Prepare the party space before arrival, liaise with the co-worker preparing the food and ensure that everything is in place.

Relax but Professional:

Allow the parent's to relax as you support the children during their painting experience while managing timelines before the next session

Normal Shift:

If there is no party, you will be required to work in the shop with the other staff, giving paint talks, preparing drinks and cleaning between changeovers and at the end of the shift.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Experience with Children

: Previous experience working with children, whether in childcare, education, or event planning, is highly beneficial.

Interpersonal Skills

: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with children and parents and other members of the team

Organizational Skills

: Ability to multitask and manage time effectively during busy party environments.

Physical Stamina

: The role may require standing for long periods and lifting so physical fitness is important.

Positive Attitude

: A friendly, outgoing personality that can create a fun and engaging atmosphere for children, their families and the general shop.

Work Environment

Variety of Settings

: Kids Party Hosts work is mainly in the shop but we do occasional off-sites in Nurseries, Church Groups and NHS groups.

Flexible Hours

: The job often requires working mainly either Saturday or Sundays in the shop

The Candidate -

This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with children and are passionate about creating memorable experiences for families during special celebrations.

Cleanup

: After the party, clean up the space, ensuring it is left in good condition for the next shift.
Job Types: Part-time, Zero hours contract

Pay: 12.21-12.22 per hour

Expected hours: 4 - 12 per week
