25,000 - 29,350.50 per year

Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of children? We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Children's Residential Care Workers to join our 3-bedded EBD (Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties) home in Handsworth.

About the Role:

As a Residential Care Worker, you will provide high-quality, nurturing care to children with complex emotional and behavioural needs. You will support their daily routines, educational development, and emotional wellbeing, ensuring a safe and positive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver person-centred care tailored to each child's needs. Develop positive relationships with children, families, and professionals. Implement behaviour management strategies in line with individual care plans. Record and report observations, incidents, and progress accurately. Promote independence, social skills, and emotional resilience.

Requirements:

NVQ Level 3 or 4 in Children's Residential Care or willingness to work towards it. Manual driving licence required. Experience working with children with EBD or complex needs is desirable. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins. Please note: We do not offer visa sponsorship.
