Role: Residential Care Worker


Salary: 12.69 per hour + 70.50 per sleep-in shift


Hours: Full-time - 40 hours per week (3 shifts + 1 sleep-in per week)

The Role: Children's Residential Care Worker



As a Residential Care Worker, you'll be a positive influence, a role model, and a steady presence in a young person's life. Your role will vary from day to day - and that's what makes it so rewarding.

Key Responsibilities



Support young people with their

education, behaviour, and mental well-being

Help them experience a childhood they can

cherish and grow from

Accompany them to appointments and work closely with professionals (doctors, social workers, teachers) Engage them in enriching activities and encourage

positive behaviour

Respond effectively in emergencies to ensure safety and well-being Maintain accurate records, handovers, risk assessments, and care plans Ensure compliance with regulations:

Health & Safety, COSHH, RIDDOR

, and others
