Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Children's Support Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and possess strong communication skills. As a Children's Support Worker, you will play a vital role in assisting children with their daily activities and ensuring their well-being. This position requires a proactive individual who is able to drive and is familiar with developing and implementing care plans tailored to individual needs.

Duties
Provide support to children in the home environment, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
Create a
safe, homely and nurturing
environment for children to thrive and grow.
Assist with the development and implementation of personalised care plans, adapting as necessary to meet changing needs.
Engage with children through play, educational activities, and social interactions to promote their development.
Maintain clear communication with parents, guardians, and other professionals involved in the child's care.
Document progress and any significant changes in behaviour or circumstances, ensuring accurate records are kept.
Drive to various locations as required for activities or appointments, ensuring safe transportation of children.
Utilise IT skills for record-keeping and communication purposes as needed.
Requirements
Previous experience working with children is essential.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary for effective interaction with children and families.
A valid driving licence is required to facilitate transportation duties.
Knowledge of care plans and the ability to implement them effectively is advantageous.
Experience in childcare settings will be considered an asset.
Proficiency in IT applications for documentation and reporting purposes is desirable.
