Job Overview


We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Worker's to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and possess strong communication skills. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in assisting individuals in their daily activities, ensuring their well-being, and helping them achieve their personal goals. Responsibilities



Provide support to children in various settings, including home and community environments. Assist in the development and implementation of care plans tailored to individual needs. Foster positive relationships with children, promoting their emotional and social development. Maintain clear and effective communication with families, colleagues, and external agencies. Document progress and any changes in behaviour or circumstances accurately. Participate in training sessions to enhance skills related to childcare and support work. Drive to various locations as required for outings or appointments.

Requirements



Previous experience working with children is essential. Knowledge of childcare practices and relevant legislation is advantageous. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary for effective interaction with children and families. Proficiency in IT to manage documentation and care plans efficiently. A compassionate nature with a commitment to supporting the needs of individuals. Level 3 NVQ in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) is essential

Previous experience working with

children in a residential setting

(preferred) Understanding of

safeguarding, trauma-informed care, and child protection

Ability to build positive relationships and provide

consistent, structured support

Flexibility to work

shifts, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins
