We are looking for a Therapeutic Practitioner for our Ofsted-regulated Therapeutic Children's Home, which cares for children with emotional and behavioural difficulties. Our therapeutic children & home is in need of an ambitious, driven, and motivated individual who is prepared to think about our children and how to best meet their needs.

As an established organisation for 14 years, we want to enable and support our staff fully grow and develop into their role, through training, effective guidance and support for you. Therapeutic Practitioner Responsibilities:

Provide day-to-day therapeutic care to our children Create a safe, warm, and nurturing therapeutic environment that promotes the physical and emotional home for our children to play and learn Support our children in their educational, recreational, and social activities. Foster a positive therapeutic professional relationships with our children, their families, and other professionals involved in their care Be a role model - help and guide our children Professional conduct of the highest standards Report writing, logging notes and key working records Maintain accurate records and documentation as required

Qualifications and Experience:



Previous experience in a similar role or working with children and young people in a residential setting is highly desirable Knowledge of Ofsted regulations is highly desirable A relevant qualification in childcare, social care, or a related field (e.g., NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People & Workforce) is preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently High level of emotional intelligence, patience, and resilience Commitment to continuous professional development and training Commitment to our important therapeutic work with our children and our therapeutic children's home Enhanced DBS (required) and It should be on update service.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.21-14.95 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
