Role:

Children's Residential Support Worker

Location:

Desborough base (may be required to travel to other services in Northamptonshire area to support on occasion.)

Contract hours:

Up to 46.5 hours p/w (overtime available)

Salary:

Up to 29,120.00 per annum

Rota:

Three week rolling rota, included evenings and weekends.

Sleep ins:

Up to 8 sleeps per month, paid at 60 per sleep.

The role



As a Children's Residential Support Worker, you'll be part of a dedicated team creating a safe, stable and nurturing home environment. You'll support children through challenges, build meaningful relationships and empower them to develop confidence, independence and a sense of belonging.

Qualifications and Requirements:



To hold NVQ/QCF/CYP Level 3 or Level Health and Social Care (Children and Young People) or equivalent or be willing to work towards

Understanding of current legislative framework and organisational policies

Commitment to ongoing training, supervision, and development

Safely perform physical interventions and restraints (once trained)

Walk long distances during outings and community activities

Carry heavy provisions or equipment for trips and activities

Get down to floor level to engage in play or therapeutic activities

Work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and sleep ins

Hold a full UK driving licence
