We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing assistance and support to children, ensuring their well-being and development. Duties
Provide direct support to children, assisting with daily activities and personal care as needed.
Implement and follow care plans tailored to each child's specific needs and goals.
Foster positive relationships with children, promoting their emotional and social development.
Maintain clear communication with children, families, and other professionals involved in the care process.
Keep accurate records of progress and any incidents that may occur during support sessions.
Assist with transportation when necessary, including driving children to appointments or activities.
Utilise IT systems for documentation and communication purposes effectively.
Experience
Previous experience working with children is essential, preferably in a support or childcare role.
A valid driving licence is preferred to facilitate transportation needs.
Familiarity with creating and implementing care plans is advantageous.
Strong communication skills are essential for interacting with children, families, and colleagues.
