Raise House Residential Children's Home is a special place, rated 'Good' by Ofsted for four consecutive years, we are truly child centred, supporting and nurturing up to three young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties, to grow, develop and flourish.
We are currently looking for two enthusiastic Residential Support Workers, to provide high quality day-to-day support and act as a role model to the young people in our care. As a member of Raise House, you will have the skills and drive to build constructive relationships and engage with each child and young person, supporting and encouraging them in daily routines and activities, and taking responsibility as a key worker. You will thrive working as part of a dedicated team, be pro-active and consistent in your approach to safeguarding, and demonstrate a commitment to the highest standards of professional practice.
Ideally you should have experience in either children's EBD residential care, or within youth work, YOT or a related field, but equally important are great communication skills, energy, eagerness to learn, and the passion to inspire and make a real difference to the lives of young people.
You must be willing and able to work on a rolling rota basis, including some weekends, bank holidays and waking nights.

All Residential Support Workers should hold a Level 3 or 4 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent, or be willing to study towards gaining this qualification, funded and supported through the Company.
