As a Children's Residential Support Worker, you'll be part of a passionate and dedicated team working together to provide stability, support, and inspiration to young people when they need it most.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Residential Support Worker, your role will include:
Supporting daily routines
: Supporting children with personal care, meal preparation, and daily activities to help them develop independence
Educational support
: Encouraging and supporting children in their learning journey, assisting with homework, and helping them develop new skills
Leading recreational activities
: Organising and leading recreational activities, including fun events and holidays, to increase engagement and enhance well-being.
Emotional support
: Providing guidance, care, and person-centered support to help children navigate difficult moments
Documentation
: Completing care plans, reports, and maintaining accurate records.
Maintaining a safe environment
: Ensuring the home is clean, secure, and well-organised
Team collaboration
: Working closely with colleagues to create a positive, nurturing environment

Previous experience in residential care is preferred but not essential--we provide full training to support your success in the role.
