About the Role:

We are looking for experienced Children's Residential Support Workers to join a network of leading care providers in Grantham and surrounding area's on a

temporary

basis. In this rewarding role, you will contribute to creating a warm, nurturing environment where young people feel safe, valued, and empowered to live their lives to the fullest. Your efforts will directly impact their well-being and help them thrive in a supportive, person-centred setting.

Your responsibilities will include:

Partake in daily activities with young people, be involves in fun games. May be on 1:1 with young people Assist Young people with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and toileting. Assist with feeding and ensuring you people receive the appropriate nutrition and hydration Record vital signs and update care records. Encourage independence and engage residents in activities to promote well-being. Provide emotional support and build positive relationships with young people. Ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for young people. Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to deliver high-quality care. Adhere to health, safety, and confidentiality policies.

Candidate Requirements:

Minimum 1 year experience in a Childcare setting Experience caring for young people with Learning Disabilities / challenging behaviours / Autism / ADHD Trained to use hoists and other moving & handling equipment A caring, compassionate, and empathetic attitude Excellent timekeeping and communication skills Ability to follow instructions and maintain accurate records Flexible approach, sensitive to the needs of young people Ability to build positive relationships with young people Medication training is beneficial but not essential A valid UK driving license is required as you will be expected to travel between different care clients

Job Type: Temporary

Pay: From 13.68 per hour

Expected hours: 6 - 40 per week
