We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing assistance and support to individuals, particularly children, ensuring their well-being and development. Duties
Assist individuals in daily living activities, promoting independence and dignity.
Develop and implement personalised care plans tailored to the needs of each individual.
Communicate effectively with children, families, and colleagues to ensure a supportive environment.
Drive individuals to appointments or activities as required, ensuring their safety at all times.
Monitor and document progress, maintaining accurate records of care provided.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance the quality of care delivered.
Engage children in educational and recreational activities that promote their development.
Experience
Previous experience working with children or in childcare settings is highly desirable.
Familiarity with IT systems for documentation and communication purposes is beneficial.
A strong ability to communicate clearly and empathetically with both children and adults is essential.
Experience in developing care plans or similar documentation will be an advantage.
