About Heartwood

With more than a decade's service in the field of social care, Heartwood Care Group have provided an experienced support for children and young people in their local communities delivering a tailored approach to each child and a flexible care for those with emotional and/or behavioral difficulties who are emotionally vulnerable and occasionally challenging.

We are currently seeking passionate Support Workers to join our exceptional team, dedicated to empowering our young people to achieve transformative and lasting positive outcomes.

Pay

: 12.90-13.70 per hour.

Contracted Hours

: 40

Shift Patterns

- 8:00am-11:00pm plus sleep

8:00am to 8:30 pm

8:00 pm-8:30 am

Sleep inn

-45 pounds(11pm-7am)

Responsibilities

Ensure that all issues relating to the safeguarding of vulnerable children and/or adults are reported according to policies and procedures and in accordance with the safeguarding policy. Promote young people's involvement in all areas including service delivery, quality assurance and organisational development. Communicate effectively (written and verbal) with both internal colleagues and external bodies alike.

Requirements

Able to demonstrate an understanding of social emotional and behavioral difficulties and how these may impact the lives of the young people that we support. Empowering, approachable and resilient worker who can inspire young people to engage in all aspects of their daily routine Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential; full training will be provided. Relevant qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People's Workforce) are desirable.
