What You'll Be Doing
As a
Residential Support Worker
, you'll be at the heart of a therapeutic team that supports vulnerable young people with emotional and behavioural needs.
Your day might include:
Supporting morning routines, meals, school runs, or appointments
Managing challenging behaviours using trauma-informed care
Organising meaningful activities, trips, and life skills sessions
Building genuine, professional relationships with children who need consistency
Writing keyworker reports, attending meetings, and contributing to care plans
Creating a safe, loving environment where young people feel heard, seen, and valued

What You'll Need
?Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or working towards)
?At least 1 year of experience in a children's residential setting
?Resilience, empathy, and emotional intelligence
?Flexibility to work varied shifts, including waking nights & weekends
?A sense of humour (seriously - it helps!)
?Full UK driving licence (preferred but not essential)
