About Us
We're a specialist 3-bed children's residential home supporting young people aged 5-17 with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD). These children are in the care system, often having experienced trauma, neglect, or instability.
Our role is to provide a safe, stable, and nurturing environment where children can feel secure and supported. As a Residential Support Worker, you'll be directly involved in day-to-day care, routines, and activities that make a real difference in a young person's life.
The Role
As a Support Worker, you'll be part of the care team working directly with young people. You'll help provide consistency, build positive relationships, and encourage children to develop independence and life skills.
What You'll Be Doing
? Provide day-to-day care and emotional support to young people
? Help with daily routines including school runs, mealtimes, appointments, and activities
? Promote positive behaviour and support children through challenging situations
? Keep accurate daily records, logs, and reports as required
? Ensure the home remains safe, welcoming, and child-focused
? Work alongside colleagues and external professionals to meet each child's needs
What We're Looking For
? Experience working with children or young people preferred (residential, education, or care setting preferred)
? Resilience and patience - able to stay calm in difficult situations
? Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or willingness to work towards this)
? Understanding of safeguarding and a genuine commitment to children's welfare
What You'll Get in Return
? Competitive pay package with sleep-in enhancements
? Full training and support to gain recognised qualifications
? Opportunities for progression to Senior Support Worker and beyond
? Supportive team culture in a small, child-focused setting
? Company pension
? A role where you can make a positive difference every day
Our Ethos
This role is about being consistent, caring, and reliable. The children we care for need people who will show up, listen, and support them to move forward. If you're values-driven and want a rewarding career, we'd love to hear from you.
