We're looking for an experienced Senior Residential Support Worker to take on a key leadership role, with a competitive

Salary ranging from 26,778 to 27,804.

Location - Newport

As a Senior Residential Support Worker, you will:

Lead shifts and take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the unit in the absence of a manager. Provide expertise and guidance to your colleagues while supporting the physical and emotional well-being of young people. Help create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children and young people. Work collaboratively with families, colleagues, and other agencies to promote partnerships and positive outcomes. Contribute to the assessment of individual needs and the development of care plans. Support and mentor staff, helping to enhance team performance.
What You'll Need:

At least one year of experience working with young people in a residential childcare setting. A QCF Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care is required. While a specialisation in Children and Young People is preferred, we will also consider candidates with a qualification focused on adults, provided they are willing to complete the extra units The ability to build and maintain positive relationships with young people and their families. Strong communication and decision-making skills.
