We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team. Duties

Assist children with daily activities, including personal care and hygiene. Develop and implement individual care plans in collaboration with families and other professionals. Provide emotional support and encouragement to children, fostering a positive environment. Maintain accurate records of progress and any changes in behaviour or needs. Communicate effectively with children, families, and team members to ensure continuity of care. Drive to various locations as required for home visits or community activities. Engage children in educational and recreational activities that promote learning and social skills.

Skills

Experience working with children in a childcare or support role is essential. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, families, and colleagues. Ability to drive is preferred for transporting children or attending off-site activities. Familiarity with developing and implementing care plans tailored to individual needs. Proficient IT skills for maintaining records and communicating with team members. A nurturing attitude with the ability to build rapport with children quickly.
