Purpose-Led Residential Childcare Work
You will support children and young people aged 10-17 with daily routines, emotional wellbeing, education and life skills development. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful difference, helping young people grow in confidence, independence and resilience.

Key Responsibilities
As a Daytime Residential Support Worker, you will:
Provide emotional, practical and therapeutic support to children and young people
Build safe, consistent and professional relationships
Support daily routines including meals, activities, appointments and education
Encourage independence and promote essential life skills
Maintain strong safeguarding practice and follow behaviour support plans
Complete clear, accurate and Ofsted-compliant records and reports
Work collaboratively with colleagues, families and external professionals
Promote positive engagement, inclusion and community participation
What We're Looking For
Essential:
Experience supporting children or young people (residential care, social care, SEN, youth work, education or similar)
Strong communication, teamwork and organisational skills
Ability to remain calm, consistent and resilient in challenging situations
Understanding of safeguarding, child development and professional boundaries
Flexibility to work full-time day shifts, including some weekends
Desirable:
Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
First Aid training
Experience supporting young people with emotional or behavioural needs
Full UK driving licence
