As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing assistance and care to individuals, particularly children, in need of support. Duties

Provide direct support to children, assisting with daily activities and personal care. Develop and implement care plans tailored to the individual needs of each child. Maintain effective communication with children, families, and other professionals involved in care. Assist with transportation needs, including driving to appointments or activities as required. Ensure a safe and nurturing environment by adhering to health and safety guidelines. Document progress and any changes in behaviour or condition as part of ongoing assessments. Engage children in recreational activities that promote their development and well-being.

Skills

Experience working with children is essential; familiarity with childcare practices is highly desirable. Strong communication skills are necessary for interacting effectively with children and their families. Ability to develop and follow care plans tailored to individual needs. Proficiency in IT skills for documentation and communication purposes. A valid driving licence is preferred for transporting children as needed.
