Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing assistance and support to individuals, particularly children, in accordance with their care plans. This role requires strong communication skills, the ability to drive, and a background in childcare or related fields. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for those you support.

Responsibilities

Assist individuals with daily living activities as outlined in their care plans. Provide emotional and practical support to enhance the well-being of clients. Communicate effectively with clients, families, and other professionals to ensure coordinated care. Engage with children in a supportive manner, fostering their development and independence. Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in client condition. Drive clients to appointments or activities as necessary, ensuring their safety at all times. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective care strategies.

Requirements

Previous experience working with children or in a similar support role is preferred. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients and team members. Ability to follow care plans diligently and adapt to the needs of clients as they arise. Proficient IT skills for maintaining records and communicating within the team. A valid driving licence is essential for transporting clients when required. A compassionate attitude towards supporting individuals in need, demonstrating patience and understanding.
