We're looking for resilient, compassionate, and enthusiastic Support Workers to join our children's home in Swindon, where young people aged 8-17 with emotional and behavioural needs are supported to thrive.

This is more than just a job -- it's a chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and young people. You'll be part of a trauma-informed team that prioritises healing, growth, and building positive relationships.

What You'll Do



Provide emotional and practical support to children in care Support daily routines: school runs, meals, activities, appointments Help young people develop life skills and promote positive behaviours Build trusting relationships and act as a positive role model Contribute to care planning, record-keeping, and team collaboration Ensure the home meets the highest safeguarding standards

What We're Looking For



Experience with children/young people (residential or similar preferred) Calm, empathetic, and non-judgmental approach Strong communication and teamwork skills Resilience in managing challenging situations Willingness to work shifts (evenings, weekends, sleep-ins) Full UK driving licence (highly desirable) Level 3/4 Diploma in Residential Childcare (preferred - training provided)

Golden Hello / Relocation Allowance Clause - A one-time payment of 1,000 will be provided to successful candidates as a Golden Hello or Relocation Allowance. This amount will be clawed back if the employee leaves the organisation within the first six months of employment.
