We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Children's Residential Support Workers to join a leading specialist provider supporting children and young people in a welcoming 3-bed residential home in Yatton.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide daily care and support, including personal care, medication administration (following training), and assisting with mealtimes
Foster a warm, positive environment by engaging children in activities, hobbies, and educational pursuits
Build trusting relationships with children, their families, and other professionals
Support the development of independent living skills, such as cooking, cleaning, and personal organisation
Assist with implementing individual care plans, risk assessments, and behaviour support strategies
Promote social, emotional, and physical development
Maintain accurate records of progress and incidents
Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure high-quality care
Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities
Ideal Candidates Will Be:
Compassionate, empathetic, and caring towards children with learning disabilities
Patient, resilient, and able to remain calm in challenging situations
Enthusiastic, creative, and proactive in engaging children through activities
Reliable, responsible, and committed to delivering consistent care
Excellent communicators, able to build rapport with children, families, and colleagues
Flexible, willing to work a rota including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins (fully paid)
Essential Requirements:
Genuinely interested in working with children and young people with learning disabilities
Understanding of safeguarding principles and child welfare
Basic IT skills for record keeping
Right to work in the UK
Desirable (Full training provided):
Previous experience with children or young people in residential or care settings
NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care (Children and Young People) or equivalent
Full UK Driving Licence (due to activity locations)
