Are you an experienced care professional looking to take the next step in your career? We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Children's Residential Team Leader to join our team, supporting children with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).

About the Role:

As a Team Leader, you will oversee the daily operation of the home, lead and support a team of Residential Care Workers, and ensure high-quality, person-centred care for the children. You will act as a role model, promote best practices, and ensure the team delivers consistent, safe, and nurturing care.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead, motivate, and support a team of care workers. Ensure all care plans are implemented effectively and updated regularly. Monitor the progress, wellbeing, and behaviour of children. Record, report, and evaluate observations, incidents, and outcomes. Promote positive relationships with children, families, and external professionals. Maintain high standards of safeguarding and compliance with regulations.

Requirements:

NVQ Level 3 or 4 in Children's Residential Care Automatic driving licence required. Experience working with children with EBD or complex needs. Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins.
