Senior Support Opportunity
Are you an experienced Support Worker with a background in Residential Child Care specialising with emotional behavioural disorder (EBD) ? Are you seeking an opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of Young People? Look no further!
Bridge2Future Care Group are on the lookout for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team within a specialist EBD Children's Residential Home in Burton on Trent. The role will require working shifts between the hours of 7.30am and 11pm, across a 7 day working week. There will also be a requirement to sleep in the home overnight, for which you would receive a sleep-in supplement of 70 per shift.

Our successful Senior Support Worker will need to possess the following skills and attributes:
Minimum Diploma Level 3 or 4 in Residential Child Care (Children and Young Peoples Workforce) or equivalent.
1 year minimum working experience with Young People that have social and emotional difficulties, behavioural difficulties or have behaviour that challenges.
Full UK Manual Driving Licence
Ability to work shifts and sleep in the home overnight
Experience in leading shifts and overseeing a team of Support Workers
As a Senior Support Worker you will be responsible for a range of duties as set out below:
Working alongside Manager & the Deputy Manager in Children's Residential Home.
Ensuring that our Young People receive the highest standard of support/care appropriate to their individual needs.
Providing advice, assistance, and support to Young People, safeguarding their welfare at all times.
Ensuring that all risks are safely managed in line with the company policies and procedures
Ensuring shifts are planned with Residential Support Workers, to take the lead on shift and be responsible for the events on the shift
Attending to Young People's practical, physical, and emotional needs and acting as an appropriate role model.
Working closely with Young People to enable them to address their difficulties and achieve their optimum potential.
Communicating effectively with the team of staff coming onto shift ensuring that a thorough account of your shifts events has taken place.
Completing written reports and documentation
Setting up, coordinating, and reviewing Care plans, Risk Assessments, Behaviour Management Plans, Health Care Documentation, Agreements, and Incentives.
