To support our ongoing development plans we are looking for suitably qualified and experienced Senior Residential Support Workers to join our operational team in the Staffordshire area.

You will be part of a team working with children aged between 8-18 years old to provide a nurturing and positive 'parenting' environment and build positive relationships with the children in our care, meeting their needs, safeguarding them at all times, and working to the standards set in children's legislation and the homes working practices.

You should be trustworthy, honest, compassionate, and reliable.

On a general basis your duties as a Senior Children Residential Care Worker will include:



Creating a warm and caring environment for children who live with us in our various residential settings

Providing support to children who may have been subject to abuse, neglect, or other issues

Promoting the skills required to lead productive adult lives once the children we look after leave care

Day to day duties of running a home such as: preparing meals, cleaning, school run, food shopping and engaging in recreational activities including holidays

In the absence of the Shift Leader, you will be expected to lead the shift

Supporting the Registered manager in their various tasks ensuring that care planning and assessment is delivered at an Outstanding level
